Basil in Aromatherapy
Basil has a long history of traditional use and remains a popular oil within modern aromatherapy.
Its fresh, stimulating aromatic character makes it particularly suited to blends created for times when you want to encourage a clear, refreshed and uplifting atmosphere.
Basil can be used alone, although its strong herbal character often comes into its own when combined with complementary essential oils.
How to Use
Diffuser & Burner
Add a few drops to your diffuser or burner, following the manufacturer's instructions. Use alone or combine with complementary essential oils to create your own aromatic blend.
Massage
Add Basil Essential Oil to a suitable carrier oil before massage. Dilute to 5% or less before skin application.
Aromatic Bath
For an aromatic bath, add your chosen essential oils after the bath has finished running, helping to retain their aroma. Essential oils should be suitably diluted or dispersed before adding them to bath water.
