A citrus type aroma, somewhere between an orange and a Lemon
History
Litsea Cubeba has a long history of use in Chinese herbal medicine, all parts of the plant were used in remedies for asthma, back pain, chills, digestive problems, as well as for helping to treat, headaches and muscular aches and pains. It was believed to have carcinostatic properties and therefore employed to treat cancer.

Litsea Cubeba (May chang) is best described as being refreshing, stimulating and uplifting, this makes it perfect for helping to relieve fatigue, lethargic and as a tonic to the nervous system, helping to clear your head and in turn helping to ease feeling of anxiety and stress.

It also has strong antiseptic antifungal and anti- Viral propertied, making it a useful in helping to treat, coughs, colds and things like athlete’s foot. May also help with skin conditions, like acne and oily skin.

Blends well with Basil, Bergamot, Clary Sage, Geranium, Ginger, Lavender, Petitgrain, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang

Safety
DILUTE TO 5% OR LESS IN A CARRIER OIL BEFORE SKIN APPLICATION. KEEP OUT OF EYES. DO NOT SWALLOW.
